The promise of tomorrow... Golden Yobo, a PHBA Honor Roll Champion mare, is pictured below with her 2000 Mr JB Dude filly, "JB Sky Hy Bailey". Sky, who is just a few hours old in the pic, will be making her performance debut in 2004. [There's lots of photos on this page so please give it time to load. Thanks!]

Here, you'll view a sampling of Mr JB Dude's get. They claim a wide variety of dams,- from ones with heavy AQHA foundation breeding to Thoroughbred race mares. You'll notice, though, that they all share the same balance & good looks. They're all JB babies!

JB We Be Jammin

Out of the mare, Exclusive Party by Sir Baron Jack [by Baron Bell], this Mr JB Dude palomino daughter was Top Ten at the "94 PHBA World Championship Show in yearling lunge line. She was also the "94 PHBA reserve high point open horse for the commonwealth of Kentucky & is a NSBA money earner. "WeBers" is now a broodmare in the Pacific Northwest. [Pictured above with owner, Sherri Shotts, & exhibitor, Lisa Brown.]

JB Irish Alanah Reed

"Alanah" is Irish for 'darling' & sometimes she is... By Mr JB Dude & out of The Irish Empress by Scarlet Irishman [AQHA Superior Halter Horse], Alanah sports an interesting pedigree with some intensive linebreeding. As a result, in an extended pedigree, she claims 15 crosses to Joe Reed [through Firebrand Reed, Leo & Joak] as well as 7 crosses to the QH stallion, Plaudit [three through Question Mark].
Standing 15.3 HH, Alanah is a PHBA open & amateur point earner with class wins in both halter & performance. Her credits include winning the title of high point senior horse & reserve high point timed event horse at the 2003 NFPA March circuit.
Watch for JB Irish Alanah Reed in English classes on the flats & over fences,- she likes it!

Angel is a 2002, smutty buckskin, AQHA appendix filly. A Mr JB Dude daughter, she's out of the 16.2+ HH TB mare, Restless Leader [Double Leader - Mr Leader X Restless Me - Rash Prince] & owned by Joe Redmon of Samson, AL.
Angel promises to be just as tall, if not taller, than her dam. A beautiful mover, she also has a super sweet personality. A future IBHA or ABRA hunt seat champ? Wouldn't that be nice....... [Pictured above at 14 months of age, JB Restless Angel is offered for sale. Please email for details.]

This 16 HH, chocolate palomino appendix mare is by Mr JB Dude & out of the race winning Thoroughbred mare, Larkalea. [What A Pleasure/Buffalo Lark granddaughter.] Larkalea also produced Thoroughbred race winners.
At her second show under saddle, "Lace" was the reserve High Point Timed Event Horse at the NFPA 2001 Labor Day circuit [A-rated 4 day show] in Marianna, Florida. Shown at only two circuits in 2001, Lace ended the year with points in 10 events, on the PHBA Honor Roll for Open Flag Race & Amateur Stake Race [eighth in the nation in both events] and managed to bring home a year end silver buckle in addition to the lovely 'Cowboy Bronze' trophy pictured above.
We'd had grand plans of showing Lace in 2002. Unfortunately, a case of EPM took precedence. The good news is, the mare is doing super! We chose to treat her with a homeopathic remedy & the results were amazingly successful. On Memeorial Day [05/26/03], Lace returned to the show pen, earning well over 20 points in timed events on that one day!

For all that have asked, "How the heck do you get a chocolate palomino?" I will say that all the chocolates we've had were out of either liver [or at least very dark] chestnut or smutty palomino mares. These are not silver dapples. From experience & observation, I'm going to surmise that a chocolate is a palomino with two copies of the smutty gene. [If anyone has information to the contrary, please let me know!] Below is another photo of JB Lacealea, taken when she was a long two year old. She's a bit sun bleached on the topline,- sorry! Please note that she was almost white at birth & didn't start to 'chocolate' until the spring of her yearling year.
JB Lillie La Dude
I've always thought that crossing the "right" TB lines on the "right" foundation QH blood can result in sound, sane & athletic horses that can excel at breed shows or compete in sport horse venues. This is a good example. A 2000 filly, Lillie has been busy growing. At 16.1 HH. she's ready to go to work. A Mr JB Dude foal, her appendix dam was a successful combined training mount. With full siblings on the hunter circuit, we expect Lillie to hold her own in future breed show over fence classes. She's a good mover & a kind, willing young mare, too!
JB Claremorris

Named for my grandmother's home town in County Mayo, Republic of Ireland, this is the 2001 foal by Mr JB Dude & out of Grumblin Gertie. A full brother to JB Esoteric Esquire & JB Lillie La Dude, "Mo" is seen here at 15 months of age & standing 15.1+ HH. This young gelding is pictured with his owner, Rosemary Shuford of Alpharetta, GA. Mo promises to be a super performance/sport horse,- watch for this pair in the future!

This attractive chocolate palomino mare lives up to her name! By Mr JB Dude and out of the foundation QH mare, Miss Super Too (Im Super Too - Sugarbear Bar X Williams Miss Pine - Monte's Jack), Pride has an old fashioned pedigree with a modern look.
Unshown due to a pasture injury [why does it always happen to the good ones?], she has a great future as a broodmare. Pride is bred & owned by HB Brewer of Marianna, FL. Her 2003 full brother is one of our stallion prospects,- watch for his pics & updates!
More up & coming JB foals...
Jasimine Beauty
Buckskin overo filly, owned by RJ & Mary Bruner.
Name pending but we'll call him "Chance" for now...
AQHA appendix palomino colt, owned by David & Kelly Faulkner.
Shouldn't your picture be here, too...?
Some other names on the "Mr JB Dude's winning foals" list include:
~ Dude Little Del Rio - palomino gelding out of Spooks Del Rio - A futurity winner as a yearling, Rio has gone on to earn a living as a PRCA calf roping horse.
~ JB Tessarock - chestnut mare out of Rocketary (TB) - Futurity placed as a weanling, Tessa ran NBHA barrels before retiring to the broodmare band.
~ JB Esoteric Esquire - chestnut gelding out of Grumblin Gertie - Standing 16.3 HH, 'Bueford' can truely sail over a 4' jump! He's presently winning over fences with his amateur owner on the 'A' circuit.
to be continued............
Congratulations & best of luck to Jeff & Donna Mixon, VooDoo Farms, Perry Florida! They have recently acquired the 2002 chestnut filly, "JB Pacific Jewel" [Mr JB Dude X Billie Jo Mito].
